This hands-on course is designed for General Dental Practitioners to refresh and improve their oral surgery skills. This will take place in a simulated environment in the phantom head suite at the University of Central Lancashire.

Course overview
You will learn to recognise and manage common oral surgery complications. This includes assessment before exodontia, and hard and soft tissue lesions. You will also know when to refer patients to a specialist centre.
This course includes practical experience, as you'll be able practise dentoalveolar surgery on a pig's jaw. It will also include presentations, practical workshops and case-based discussion.
