Entry requirements
There are no specific barriers, in terms of academic qualifications, skills or experience for entry to the NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management programme.
However, it should be noted that currently the assessments are offered, and must be answered, in English only. The standard of English required by candidates studying for the NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management must be such that they can both understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus. Candidates undertaking this qualification should reach a minimum standard of English equivalent to an International English Language Testing System score of 6.0 or higher in IELTS tests in order to be accepted onto a National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management programme.
