Immediate Life Support Instructor is a specialist course to become an instructor in Immediate Life Support (ILS) and Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS).

Course overview
This day-long course is approved by the Resuscitation Council UK. It will consist of lectures, skill stations and simulated teaching sessions. You'll learn what is needed to deliver an ILS and PILS course. You'll get to practice key skills in a simulated teaching session.
You'll receive a copy of the Pocket Guide to Teaching for Clinical Instructors, as well as teaching materials and assessment forms at least four weeks before the course. You'll need to read this before the course. You'll also need your teaching materials for the simulated teaching session.
The course will take place at our Burnley campus. Breakfast, lunch and light refreshments will be provided.
