Business Continuity Management

Accredited by the Business Continuity Institution (BCI) and delivered by academics and emergency service subject experts, this short course will prepare you for the BCI examination.


Course overview

Module 1 will consists of 3 days theoretical input on the business continuity lifecycle. It prepares the student for the Business Continuity Institutes ‘Certificate in Business Continuity’.

Modules 2 and 3 provides for external validation of BCM arrangements and testing of response plans and are organisational specific.

Learning outcome and aims

Module 1 will help prepare the delegate for the Certificate of Business Continuity Institute Examination.

Please note that Business Continuity Management is subject to validation which may result in changes to the course structure. Any changes as a result of the validation will be immediately included and highlighted in the course documentation and all students holding current offers will be provided with a comprehensive list of those changes. If you are not satisfied with the changes, you will be offered the opportunity to withdraw from the programme and, if required, reasonable support to transfer to another provider.
