Business Continuity Management

Accredited by the Business Continuity Institution (BCI) and delivered by academics and emergency service subject experts, this short course will prepare you for the BCI examination.

The first module (3 days) will give you the theoretical input on the business continuity lifecycle, with training based on the BCI good practice guidelines with an option to sit the ‘Certificate in Business Continuity’ examination on day four. Modules 2 and 3 are ideal for organisations who wish to have their current business continuity arrangements externally audited verified by experts including testing of their strategic, tactical and operational plans in our state-of-the-art Minerva Simulation Suite.

Course overview

Module 1 will consists of 3 days theoretical input on the business continuity lifecycle. It prepares the student for the Business Continuity Institutes ‘Certificate in Business Continuity’.

Modules 2 and 3 provides for external validation of BCM arrangements and testing of response plans and are organisational specific.

Learning outcome and aims

Module 1 will help prepare the delegate for the Certificate of Business Continuity Institute Examination.

Module 1 of this course is 3 days plus an optional day to sit the examination. Module 2 is organisational specific. Module 3 is 1 day.
