This course is the first stepping-stone on the coaching pathway. It will provide you with an introduction to coaching the game and working with players from under 7 upwards. You will gain an insight into the game in England, how it is played and how you can coach to better support the development of future players.

Course Content

Course Outline:
The FA Level 1 in Coaching is for anyone interested in learning more about football coaching. It will provide you with the skills and knowledge to prepare you to coach football at the grassroots level.

You will be introduced to the practical and theoretical aspects of planning, delivering and reviewing individual football coaching sessions and the foundation level of knowledge and skills developed through this qualification will enable you to create safe, fun and engaging coaching sessions through building, developing and extending a series of linked practices.
