Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Short Course

Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Short Course

Emotional intelligence is recognised as having the ability to monitor our own other people’s feelings and to use this knowledge to guide ones thinking and actions. We make decisions not only based on outcomes but also the emotional qualities associated with the decision. Emotional intelligence is a set of skills that scaffold leadership and the safe delivery of care in the NHS. Self-awareness and Self-management are personal competencies that can be developed to support you in your leadership journey.
