Business Continuity Management Short Course

Accredited by the Business Continuity Institution (BCI) and delivered by academics and emergency service subject experts, this short course will prepare you for the BCI examination. The first module (3 days) will give you the theoretical input on the business continuity lifecycle, with training based on the BCI good practice guidelines with an option to sit the ‘Certificate in Business Continuity’ examination on day four. Modules 3 and 4 are ideal for organisations who wish to have their current business continuity arrangements externally audited verified by experts including testing of their strategic, tactical and operational plans in our state-of-the-art Minerva Simulation Suite.

Course Outline:

Module 1 will consists of 3 days theoretical input on the business continuity lifecycle. It prepares the student for the Business Continuity Institutes ‘Certificate in Business Continuity’.

Modules 2 and 3 provides for external validation of BCM arrangements and testing of response plans and are organisational specific.

Learning Environment & Assessment:

Delivered by emergency service professionals MBCI and ISO and an optional 4th Day examination (Certificate Business Continuity Institute) CBCI.

Delivered by specialist academics and emergency service experts; MBCI and ISO 22301
