Southport College University Centre offers an ever-evolving range of PGCE, Degree and HND courses. Its students, many of whom progress from the college’s excellent FE provision, benefit from small class sizes, lots of face-to-face tutor engagement and outstanding support. As well as recently refurbished, dedicated learning facilities.
The higher-level programmes offered are specifically chosen to meet the needs of the local economy and the University Centre has strong links with local industry and employers. As a result, our students not only benefit from valuable insights and relevant work placements, but the majority then also progress onto careers in their chosen sector.
Many of the students at this vibrant University Centre combine their studies with the demands of full time work and family commitments; so to accommodate this, most courses operate using compressed hours.
