About UK Partnerships 

UK Partnerships sits within UK Recruitment and Partnerships, within the External Relations Service at the University.

We believe in helping people to seize every opportunity to flourish in education, at work and for life. 

We currently have active partnerships with 19 UK Partner organisations. This includes 13 FECs and 6 Private Training Providers and in the region of 4000 students on approximately 180 courses. 

We're committed to working collaboratively with partners to provide equal opportunities for all. We want to ensure everyone with the potential to benefit from higher education can participate and succeed. So all students can find a course and an institution that meets their potential, needs and ambitions for employment and further study.

The operation of UK Partnerships sits within the framework of Collaborative Contracts. This is issued at 5 yearly intervals and the annual financial agreements and approved list of courses. 
UCLan's Academic Regulations and quality processes govern the partner delivery of University awards.
Each Partner has an appointed HE Co-ordinator as the key liaison point with the University. They will also help to disseminate information within their institution. 
Liaison contacts will arrange regular visits and meetings. There will be a contact for each course delivered within the appropriate school and the partner.
The Partnership operates under a devolved model – with a small central UK Partnerships Team. The team will support the relationship management and development of the partnerships. Along with the appropriate University services supporting the operation of UK Partnerships.
You'll have regular communication from the UK Partnerships Team. This includes our bi-annual Partnership forum and our dedicated Partner SharePoint site.

New UK collaborative partnerships process

We welcome expressions of interest for UK collaborative provision. We're open to developing new Partnerships of scale, particularly outside of our region of Lancashire.

The first step in this process is to complete the enquiry form below outlining your institution’s proposal.
