International partners

Study at a partner

Internationalisation and partnership are at the heart of our corporate strategy. We have nurtured a diverse network of international partners overseas and value our reputation as a successful partnership institution.

A diverse network of partners all over the globe

We forged our first overseas transnational education collaboration in 1986. Thanks to this we are now engaged globally on programmes ranging over a variety of aspects. This range from staff and student exchanges, progression partners (articulations) to validated programmes. We also work in collaborative research, knowledge transfer and joint project ventures.

We are proud to be at the forefront of higher education globalisation. We work in collaboration with governing bodies, ministries of education and international organisations. We provide staff and students with real-world international opportunities both at home and across the world.

Awards

  • We’ve been awarded the maximum 5 QS Stars (Excellent) for internationalisation (2022). We’re proud to be a truly international university, with a thriving staff and student community of 38,000+ people from over 100 countries. We encourage all our students to become ‘global citizens’ and our courses open doors to worldwide career opportunities. We offer a welcoming destination to all our international students, providing them with the support they need to succeed in their studies. Our 5 QS Stars also reflects the opportunities we provide to enable students to experience other cultures; the success of our overseas campus in Cyprus; and our 120+ international partnerships with universities based in China, Malaysia, the Far East and beyond.
