The University of Central Lancashire Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus) is honoured and proud to establish the First British University in Cyprus, having been granted an academic license by the Cyprus Ministry of Education & Culture.
UCLan Cyprus opened its doors to the first cohort of students in October 2012 at a new, €53 million University campus situated in Larnaka (Pyla area) offering premium British higher education and quality standards to its students and the society.
With a world class academic reputation firmly rooted in relevance, UCLan Cyprus is focused on a future of providing innovative thinking – for the real world. The University will provide the perfect blend of knowledge, practical experience and relevance to equip its graduates with the confidence and skills they need.
UCLan has a focus on applied research and on providing practical solutions for businesses, large and small. UCLan Cyprus will be recognised locally and internationally for its distinctive approach to university education.
With a dedication to excellence, it will be committed to fostering employability and entrepreneurship and making a significant contribution to the economic, social and cultural benefit of Cyprus and beyond.
Torn between going to university and seeing the world? Studying at UCLan Cyprus gives you the best of both – the benefit of a UK education and the chance to experience life in the Mediterranean.
UK students with 200 or more A2 points can study at UCLan Cyprus in two ways:
Should your circumstances change and you wish to return to the UK, you have the option to transfer your studies to the same degree at UCLan in subsequent years. A number of our degree courses are joint UCLan UK and UCLan Cyprus awards and your course leader will be able to advise and arrange your relevant module registrations for you to be able to continue your studies back home.
