Why MBA Business Administration, International graduate Siamak Esfehanian chose to study at UCLan

International graduate, Siamak Esfehanian, chose to study at the University of Central Lancashire because of his interests in business and the opportunities afforded to graduates of our Master of Business Administration course.

After graduation, Siamak wanted to remain in the UK but due to the financial crisis impacting on employment, he decided to pursue work in the Middle East within the oil and gas industry. He secured a job back in his home country of Iran as a plant deputy before moving up the career ladder to his current position.

Siamak is now a Chairman and a Commercial Manager at Kinetic Multiplier Pars where he is responsible for exporting different types of oil and gas products from the Middle East. His role entails coordinating and supervising three departments; marketing and sales, operations and documentation comprising of 30 employees.

Reflecting on his UCLan experience, Siamak said: “I had a great time and have good memories. The trip to France was the best memory for me, visiting the company Airbus and the trip to the Lake District with my friends, all part of the course.”

He added: “I wouldn’t be the professional I am now without my master’s degree, my ability and my experiences.”
