Vicki works with International Postgraduate students to enhance their professional development and to secure placement and internship roles. Vicki previous experience has included supporting undergraduate students to secure work placement roles, and this work formed the basis for her Masters of Education in professional practice thesis that looked at the challenges students in LSBE faced in securing work experience. In 2018, Vicki co-wrote a book chapter 'Pushing Water Uphill? The Challenges of Non-engagement' within Employability via Higher Education: Sustainability as Scholarship. More recently, Vicki has taken on Deputy course leadership of the MBA with professional placement.
Vicki is a trustee of ASET, the Work Based and Placement Learning Association, and she contributes to good practice guidelines, webinars and training sessions for work placement practitioners. Her research interests have lead to conference presentations at the Open University, Chartered Association of Business Schools and ASET. In 2020, Vicki was invited to London to judge The National Undergraduate Employability Awards.
