Dr. DeMesquita teaches medical Neuroscience in Phase 1 years at the University of Central Lancashire School of Medicine. In addition to medical students she also teaches dental, physician assistant and BSc students neuroscience.
Currently Dr. DeMesquita is coordinating both horizontal and vertical intergration of neuroscience education within the University of Central Lancashire School of Medicine
After teaching medical students in the United States and Caribbean medical physiology and neuroscience, she now focuses her teaching on the intergration of basic neuroscience with neurology.
