Mohamed possesses over 15 years’ experience as a business leader in the retail market in Cape Town, South Africa. He is accomplished in all areas of managing and operating a business. Following a change of career to academia, Mohamed’s constant enthusiasm to improve himself, search for opportunities and address challenges has led to him taking on increasingly senior roles within the Business School.
He is currently the School’s International Lead, managing international recruitment, collaboration and partnership activities. He thoroughly enjoys leading global developments across the School’s portfolio of international programmes, as well as engaging with staff and students to deliver high quality teaching and an outstanding experience.
Mohamed has actively participated in a number of University and School strategic developments, including: Project Coordinator for the School’s activities in Mauritius; internal secondment to UCLan’s Cyprus campus to lead staff development and oversee academic quality matters; and guest lecturing in Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen. He has also represented the School at networking events where senior members of Parliament and distinguished stakeholders from the education and business sectors were present.
