Kirstie Harrison

School of Nursing

Kirstie is a lecturer within the School of Nursing and teaches on both Pre Registration Adult Nursing and the Nursing Associate Programme.

Kirstie returned to UCLan in 2017, when she started her career as a Nurse Educator. Since then, Kirstie has secured her position as a Lecturer and more recently, the Admissions Tutor for the Nursing Associate Programme.

She studied her own Pre Registration Adult Nursing BSc at UCLan and qualified in 2015 when she began working in the Unscheduled Care Division at a local NHS Trust. Kirstie ensures to maintain contemporary, clinical links by working in a local Accident and Emergency Department in a Registered Nurse role. She has recently undertaken and completed her PG Cert Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and is now studying towards an MSc Nursing.
