Fiona McFall
Fiona is a Pharmacist with experience in both the community and primary care sectors. She is a Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice and teaches across a broad range of topics.
Fiona primarily teaches Pharmacy Practice across all undergraduate years, however also teaches within the Advanced Certificate for Independent Prescribing.
Fiona graduated in 2010 from Liverpool John Moores University with a Master of Pharmacy degree. She started her career as a community pharmacist with Boots with Chemist, before holding a variety of community pharmacy positions including working as a Locum Pharmacist and managing an independent pharmacy. She moved into Primary Care in 2016, working within the NHS for Knowsley Clinical Commissioning Groups’ Medicine Management Team. Whilst there Fiona achieved a Non Medical Prescribing qualification from Edge Hill University in 2018. Fiona joined the University of Central Lancashire in 2020 as a Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice and is currently working towards completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education.
