Miland has given statistical support both within the CTU and to researchers in other departments at UCLan, as well as NHS professionals outside the UCLan.
Miland is responsible for giving statistical support to trials in the Lancashire Clinical Trials Unit (LCTU) and other advisory support, as well as teaching in the university.
Miland has previously worked in training and IT roles before entering Medical Statistics. In previous jobs has collaborated with researchers on a number of universities in the UK as well as health professionals, both in epidemiological departments and trials units and served on three different research review committees.
