Allan teaches on Crime Scene Science and Forensic Practice modules.
Allan has published widely in forensic sconce and identification journals as well as speaking at international conferences. He is the section editor and sub-section author of Wiley Encyclopedia of Forensic Science (Wiley, London, 2009)
Allan was a career Crime Scene Investigator for over 25 years and following retirement, was until recently an international consultant to law enforcement, governments, private sector investigation organisations and NGOs.
