The TV studio features autocue equipped studio cameras on broadcast specification pedestals.
It’s a highly flexible environment where all audio & video feeds can be configured via hardware & software routing.
The production gallery contains a full complement of digital vision equipment including video manipulation, tapeless recording and a 24 channel audio mixer with a range of digital sound processing units.
Recorded programmes and the live studio output can be webcast across the university via a bespoke IPTV facility.

Due to the innate technical nature of the equipment contained within this studio, there is a prerequisite for students to attend a technical induction and then following that they must complete further course based technical instruction workshops prior to permission being granted for their independent use of this studio. Availability for use by authorised students is by arrangement with the academic and technical staff. Please note that this facility is used for scheduled teaching activities. The space is only available to book outside of these times. Please contact technical staff for further information.
