The first of Lancashire Business School’s Postgraduate Advice events this year have gathered together current students, alumni, as well as the general public, to find out more about the advantages of studying for a postgraduate qualification at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).
The events presented prospective students with an opportunity to speak with course leaders about the postgraduate programmes taught within LBS and enabled them to receive all the necessary information about entry requirements, course content, fees and funding.
Chatting over tea and cakes led attendees to unearth how studying at UCLan can enhance their personal development and boost employability prospects.
Alison Lucas, division leader of Communication, Marketing and PR, said: "A number of our current final year students are considering the option of studying a postgraduate programme . The School offered an event, which provided undergraduates, as well as former students and the general public, with first-hand postgraduate course information and enabled them to get all their questions about the courses and their financing options answered."
Event attendees also had a chance to meet current students on various business related postgraduate programmes, to talk about the course content and the overall experience of being a postgraduate student.
