A group of 34 second-year undergraduates studying the Principles of Marketing module from the Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise and their tutors, Caroline Holliday and Deborah Jepson visited Manchester City FC and participated in a stadium tour in December 2017.
The visit assisted students with their assessment on Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility. The Teaching and Learning Fund in the Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise at UCLan funded the coach journey and stadium tour visit.
Module leader for the Principles of Marketing module, Caroline Holliday said: “The Manchester City Stadium tour allowed staff and students to gain an insight into the marketing and branding of a premiership football club.
The visit brought theory to practice and was enjoyed by all who attended. I would like to thank the Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise for supporting this visit and the staff at the tour for their help on the day and students and colleagues from the Division of Marketing at UCLan for their help and enthusiasm on the day.”
