Fiona Bledge, one of the Law School’s Lecturers, recently won a teaching award in the 7th Annual Golden Roses teaching awards which are student-led from nomination to presentation.
Fiona was awarded the Leading Equality Award which recognises staff for firmly considering students’ needs and making appropriate adjustments for all students to maximise their experiences. Fiona won this award for making sure that everyone’s individual needs are catered for.
Fiona has been a lecturer in the Law School since 2013, having previously practised as a Litigation Solicitor for 12 years. She teaches a wide range of subjects across the Law School, from the Foundation LLB up to the postgraduate Legal Practice Course and is keen to share her knowledge and experience of the legal profession. Fiona highly values the relationship she builds with all of her students and works hard to help them to achieve their aims and fulfil their potential.
