UCLan and partners, including the Samuel Lindow Foundation, invested £5 million into the comprehensive redevelopment and extension of the Samuel Lindow Building in 2009.
This facility was developed from the original Westlakes International Research and Graduate Centre and offers state-of-the-art facilities in advanced technology, communications systems and environmental performance.
With two laboratories and advanced teaching areas with the latest high performance computing facilities the Samuel Lindow Building maintains UCLan’s commitment to providing facilities of the highest standard. The upgraded building is also beneficial to education in Copeland, particularly higher education teaching, research, knowledge transfer and outreach.
