If you’re thinking about studying at The University of Central Lancashire then hopefully you have attended one of our Applicant Days in order to not only learn more about your chosen course, but find out more about why we’re one of the top universities in the world. Our Applicant Day schedule has now finished, but there are still plenty of opportunities to visit us, book now for our next open days or join us for a campus tour.
What is an Applicant Day?
If you received an offer from us, Applicant Days are your chance to see exactly where you’ll be based, meet course tutors, other applicants for the same course as you and even current students who have gone before you, all strengthening that excellent choice you’ve made!
Some of our courses invite students for an interview or audition day instead of an Applicant Day, which will include lots of information about your course and the opportunity to take a tour around our campus.
Our Applicant Days for 2017 entry have now finished. But there are still plenty of opportunities to come and visit us to get a taste of the UCLan experience. We can’t wait to see you on campus - book now for our next open days, or why not visit us on one of our student-led campus tours?
On arrival, check-in at the desk – this may vary in location depending on your course, but full details will be sent to you.
You’ll get to meet your future course tutors and hear more about the course you’ve applied for - you can ask all the questions you want both from them and our current students.
If you’d like to explore further, you can go on one of our campus tours, taking in all our facilities like our 24/7 library, our purpose-built sports centre just for students, places where you can eat – and drink – and some of the lecture theatres, classrooms or studios you might be studying in.
Thinking of living in Preston? Our accommodation is close to campus, and close to the city centre – nothing is more than a 10 minute walk away, and being in the north of England, you’ll find our accommodation great value for money. Take a look at our halls, flats or en-suite accommodation and experience how easy it’ll be living away from home.
Take a look round the city of Preston – you’ll be surprised how vibrant it is with plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, all just a short walk away. We’re a little city with a big personality!
After all that, you’ll be ready for a sit down- so have a chat to our staff and students over lunch and sample our complimentary menu on offer in one of our many food outlets.
If you’re unable to attend on one of our Applicant Days, find out more about Open Days and our Campus Tours as a great alternative to seeing the campus and finding out more about your chosen course.
