Your Campus

The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is a safe and friendly campus located on the outskirts of Preston City Centre. Student life at UCLan should be a great experience and students have access to a large number of social and dining spaces, excellent student support and learning facilities, and a large number of amenities including shops, on-campus medical centre and pharmacy, two sports centres, a pre-school centre, and a multi-faith centre.

Our dedicated support teams can provide advice and guidance in many areas including, accommodation, travel (and car parking), places to eat, and places to shop. UCLan has a thriving community of undergraduate and postgraduate students and the university hosts many events throughout the year. Facilities

UCLan has a range of student support facilities on campus, including a Medical Centre and Pharmacy, a Pre-school centre and Multi-faith Centre.

The University has two excellent Sports Centres -  the UCLan Sports Arena and the Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre, offering free membership to all students at the Preston Campus.

We have a wide range of specialist teaching resources including digital cameras, DVD players, camcorders, data projectors, microphones, musical instruments and tripods.

 

Travel

The university is within easy reach of the M6 and has excellent local access. Campus is just a short walking distance from Preston City Centre, Preston Railway Station, and the main bus station. The university works closely with local transport providers to provide travel discounts to UCLan staff and students. The UCLan Student Union is at the centre of student life on campus. The SU represents the interests of all students at the University of Central Lancashire.
