Tina is a qualified solicitor with a background in private client work. Her key teaching and research interests include medical law, mental health law and issues relating to equality and diversity.
Tina graduated from Bristol University with an honours degree in law and completed her Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law in Chester, for which she was awarded a Law Society prize for outstanding performance.
Tina has experience of working in legal practice in both Africa and England and qualified as a solicitor in 1996. She has been a senior lecturer in Lancashire Law School for many years. She has contributed to the development and teaching of a range of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level including the Law School's professional programmes.
Tina plays an active role in the pastoral support of students and is particularly interested in factors affecting retention and attainment within the Law School.
