Nicky Varley mainly teaches on the Children’s Nursing Pre-registration programme.  Nicky has worked within a Public Health arena as a Health Visitor and has recently worked on the Neo-natal Unit and Children’s A&E as a staff nurse.  Nicky has a special interest in child protection and the importance of the ‘early years’

Nicky began her role here in June 2017.

Nicky is a Nurse Educator and works within the Children’s Nursing team, she teaches on both Pre and Post Registration Nursing courses.  Nicky has worked in the community as a Health Visitor, on the Neo-natal unit at Burnley General Hospital and most recently in A&E at Royal Blackburn Hospital.

Nicky began her role here in June 2017.
