Dr. Mahmood Shah

Senior Lecturer in Business Systems

School of Management

Greenbank Building, GR055

Throughout my life, my three greatest passions have been education, technology and business management. I am fortunate that I have been able to combine all three in my current job and career. My passion for education/teaching began very early in high school when my teacher allowed me to provide occasional lessons to my fellow pupils. In my late teens, my exposure to technologies and business through family business interests enabled me to closely research the technological development and promising practice in managing businesses. I combined these two (technologies and management) during my studies for A Levels, graduation, Masters and PhD while staying involved with the industry all the time. Later, my consultancy and academic jobs enabled me to carry on with this path and I intend to follow it in the foreseeable future.
