A Senior Lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire since 2002, Lesley's main teaching activities are related to information systems. She is also heavily involved in supporting students in their transition to university, along with research into pedagogy and enhancing the student experience.

Lesley is research active within the area of computing and is a member of the Innovative Computing Education Research Group.
