Currently shadowing the present course leader with a view to take over this role in 2016. Runs and manages the core modules for the SCPHN programme

Other teaching Includes Pre registration Nursing modules with a public health or community nursing element. Enjoys teaching clinical skills to pre registration students.
Taught on the Supporting learning in Multi professional practice since commencing at UCLAN – Teaching qualified nurses the roles and responsibilities of mentoring and assessing pre registration students from a multi professional background.
Eight years experience of the admission tutor role (pre registration Nursing – Adult Field) – which has included organising and developing new processes to meet a growing ….
Prior to starting work as a Lecturer at UCLan, Judith was a School Nurse in Preston covering a large case load in a socially deprived area. Judith is particularly interested in the inequalities in health that are prevalent in such areas. Social aspects of health are the main focus of her teaching.
