Jim Ingham's research background is in sound geographies. Since 2002 Jim has taught at UCLan in the areas of Web, Audio and Graphics.

Jim is also interested in all things audio. For over 15 years Jim has produced and engineered the BBC radio show On the Wire.

Jim is the School lead for Quality and Academic Development and is a member of the Royal Geographical Society.

Research

Jim is involved with a number of projects involving motion capture, with particular interest in using motion capture for the spatial analysis of body movement.

Jim has supervised PhD students in the area of motion capture and graphics.
