Jacquie's teaching interests include sociology and social policy, evidence based practice, research, anatomy and physiology, nursing theory, clinical skills and acute and critical care.

Full Profile

In her role as principal lecturer in Acute, Operative and Critical Care, Jacquie is responsible for the line management and support of fourteen senior lecturers. Her role is to support colleagues in raising the profile of the division through research, scholarly activity, publication, conference activity and consultancy projects.

She also leads on the management and coordination of the ACCNP Critical Care course in the Sultanate of Oman. As a member of the senior executive team for the School of Nursing and Caring Sciences, she is involved in strategic discussion, debate and action planning. As International Lead for the School of Nursing and Caring Sciences she is responsible for liaising at School level. Jacquie is also link tutor for Blackpool Fylde and Wyre Cardiac Surgery Unit and Day Surgery Unit.
