His research interests lie mainly within the area of Contemporary Spanish Studies. He has conducted research into the literature, culture and history of the Spanish Civil War and the Republican Exile of 1939, particularly the poetry of the Second Generation of the Republican exile in Mexico. Further to this, he also has a developing interest in the area of Contemporary Spanish Flash Fiction.

Full Profile

Eduardo joined UCLan in September 2014 as Lecturer in Hispanic Studies after three years of lecturing at Maynooth University (Ireland). He has a PhD in Contemporary Spanish Literature (University of St. Andrews, 2011), and graduated in Filología Hispánica from Universidad de Valladolid in 2006.

Teaching Activities and Responsibilities:  

He teaches Spanish Language, Literature and Culture, as well as Translation Studies.
