Gayle is research active within the area of psychology. She is a member of the Cognitive Research Group and the Health Psychology Research Group.

Research Interests

Primary research interests focus on the areas of physical attractiveness, body image and sexual behaviour. Gayle has recently extended this research activity, investigating the health status of vulnerable groups. Research findings have been reported in a range of national and international press including The Sunday Times, USA Today and Radio 4.
