He is also the lead statistician in the Lancashire CTU and currently supervises the analysis of all its trials. Chris' main research interests are the design and analysis of studies of randomised trials of complex interventions.

Full Profile

Chris is an experienced statistician with a particular interest in the design and analysis of randomised trials to evaluate the effectiveness of complex healthcare interventions. Chris is particularly interested in the application of cluster trials and of the evaluation of complex interventions for stroke, cancer and musculoskeletal research.

As the Associate Director of the Lancashire CTU overseeing the day to day CTU business, he is also responsible for developing business. Using his extensive contacts in health research Chris is developing new collaborations on trials both from external and internal sources.
