Angela is a Senior Lecturer in Tourism and Hospitality in the School of Sport, Tourism and the Outdoors.
Angela has extensive and varied Hospitality, Tourism and Events experience at operational, supervisory and management level in the Hospitality and Tourism Industries gained in the UK and in the USA (Cape Cod), Finland, Poland and Singapore.
Research interests include The Slow Food Movement and The Local Food Movement.

Angela is a Senior Lecturer in Hospitality and Tourism and has been at the University since 1996. She leads a range of Hospitality, Tourism and Events modules from first year to Masters level including: Service Excellence and Professionalism in Tourism, Hospitality and Events; Tourism Essentials; International Hospitality Management; Contemporary Issues in Food and Drink; and Principles & Practices of Tourism, Hospitality & Events.
She also supervises both undergraduate and post-graduate research projects and dissertations and undertakes domestic and international internship visits. She is a member of the University Review Panel and has been the School of Sport, Tourism and the Outdoor`s Disability Lead since 2013.
External Examiner for the University of Surrey and the University of East Anglia.
