Extensive experience in Advertising, Marketing, PR, Research, Media, Training, Communications and Digital, having worked in Press, Radio, Television, Digital, Mobile and Advertising Agencies.

Led high-performing Sales and Marketing teams consistently exceeding £ multi-million targets in Advertising, Sponsorship and Promotions across Digital, Mobile, Radio, Print, Television and Press with companies including EMAP, Capital Radio and The Daily Mail. Worked in a number of Advertising Agencies in London, in Media Planning and Buying roles. Managed successful sales teams that, after extensive annual surveys of the advertising marketplace, were voted “Sales Team of the Year” for four years running as Regional Sales and Marketing Director at Emap, Capital Radio Group and the Daily Mail.

Extensive experience in Advertising, Marketing, PR, Research, Media, Training, Communications and Digital. Enterprising and adapt well to emerging technologies especially Mobile, Digital and Social Media supported by business acumen gained from an MBA from Manchester Business School 2001.

In 2002 founded Digital Sales Limited, selling to Advertising Agencies and Clients across the UK representing and selling a range of Digital Services for clients including:

  • Channel 4, selling advertising and marketing opportunities on the interactive network that exists under the Channel 4 brand. Entertaining, and content rich websites, that in turn offer the viewer a continuous and total web experience.
  • Enpocket the Global mobile media company that provides integrated mobile advertising and marketing services. Developed mobile sales strategy, sales presentations and reporting systems for advertising agencies, clients and publishers. Sold the entire mobile inventory for News International mobile sites, and the first WAP site Enpocket developed.
  • Mediarun Limited, selling Search Engine Optimization, site optimization for natural search listings, Performance Display Advertising increasing the volume of traffic to sites through sales on either a CPM, CPC or CPA basis, plus premium site representation.
  • Managed an audit of the New Business Department of one of the UK’s top 10 fastest growing agencies Mediavest Manchester, formulating a strategy for organizational change, during a period where billings increased 46% from £117m to £171m.

Prior moving into lecturing worked with innovative start up technology organisation delivering the Award Winning Mobile Visual Search campaigns for clients and media owners including Bauer, Fiat, Haymarket, Lacoste, Liverpool Victoria, Manchester United and UK Living.
