IFAS The International Family Aggression Society

This newly formed society is open to all who are involved either in a professional or voluntary capacity working with or researching family violence perpetrators and victims. The International Family Aggression Society (IFAS) is dedicated to understanding the causes and consequences of family aggression, with the aim of promoting and facilitating cutting edge research, evidence based practice, and effective governmental responses.


IFAS is 
  • A multidisciplinary society open to all who work(either paid or on a voluntary basis) in any area of family violence.

  • International

  • Dedicated to facilitating knowledge transfer within the family violence fields, both within and between disciplines

  • Committed to facilitating inter and intra disciplinary collaboration in order to enhance family aggression research and practice
