In Literature and Cultures, we offer programmes in English Literature and Creative Writing. Our programmes offer a diverse range of material covering traditional and innovative subject matter. Our lecturers are active researchers with specialist knowledge in their fields and a clear understanding of the skill sets that literary subjects can deliver to fit you for the workplace.

Our research active staff are involved in exciting projects including: Woody Guthrie: hard times and hard travellin’ and Commemorating Abolition.
