Dr. Jon Aveyard is a Preston-based composer, performer and audio-artist.  His work is presented locally, nationally and internationally.



Qualifications

BA (Hons) Music, University of Wales, Bangor (1999)
PhD in Music Composition, University of Birmingham (2007)

Research

Jon’s current research is focused on the use of in-ear microphones in studio composition, installations and performances. 

Additionally, he is involved in research into the teaching of improvisation to groups of undergraduate musicians and dancers.
