A History of Video Art: The Development of Form and Function

Tracing the history of video art in the UK, USA and Europe in relation to the development of electronic moving image technology since 1968, published by Berg, November 2006.  A new enlarged and revised edition is currently being developed and is scheduled to be published 2012-13.  The book has been recently translated into Japanese by Professor Shinsuke Ina of  Kyoto Seika University during his period at EDAU (April-June 2009) and is due to be published by Sangensha Publishers Inc, Tokyo in 2011.
