UCLan fashion promotion with styling students present diversity themed show at Fishergate Shopping Centre

A free catwalk show has been organised by fashion students from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).

The third year BA (Hons) Fashion Promotion with Styling undergraduates have worked with the Fishergate Centre to arrange the event.

The show, which is open to the public, is taking place at 7.00pm on Thursday 27 November. It aims to inspire the people of Preston to dress in looks inspired by the catwalks, interpreted in the show with garments sourced from the excellent quality and range of fashion items on offer at the Fishergate Shopping Mall.

"The students will celebrate diversity with a ‘fashion for everyone’ approach, using models of all sizes, ethnicities and ages."

The students will celebrate diversity with a ‘fashion for everyone’ approach, using models of

all sizes, ethnicities and ages. Everything from models to music has been selected by the UCLan students, ensuring a fashion-forward event with a family-friendly atmosphere.

Sixteen exhibitors will create on-trend scenes which are exclusively available from: Debenhams, Officer’s Club, Strawberry Moon, Evans, Roman, Primark, Temptation and Designer Menswear. Customers will also have the opportunity to browse and buy any items they sew on the catwalk as the centre is open late for shopping throughout the evening.
