Top writers are book-ed for UCLan visit

Two top names in the world of women’s literature are heading to the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).

Adele Parks and Lisa Jewell, who are two of Britain’s biggest-selling women’s fiction authors, will be talking openly and honestly to fans and budding authors.

They will be taking part in a question and answer session and will talk about their books, their inspirations and experiences as authors in a bustling market.

The free event, organised by UCLan Publishing, is taking place on 9 May at 4.30pm in the Media Innovation Studio.

Adele, who has penned 12 novels and sold more than two million books, includes Playing Away and Tell Me Something among her collection of work. Lisa, whose first book went on to become the best-selling debut novel of that year, has written 11 books including A Friend of the Family and Before I Met You.

The free event, organised by UCLan Publishing, is taking place on 9 May at 4.30pm in the Media Innovation Studio. This event is part of a series of special literary events organised by MA Publishing students from UCLan.
