Induction programmes

You will find a welcoming atmosphere in Lancashire Business School and the School of Sport, Tourism and the Outdoors, where a range of diverse and stimulating courses blend theory and application in order to equip you for jobs in the modern world.

During your first week with us, you will be introduced to your Course Leader and will be given an opportunity to engage in a number of sessions to familiarise yourself with many aspects of University life.  This includes enrolling with the University, an introduction to the Library and Computing facilities, joining the Student Union and meeting Student Services.

Induction Week is designed to give you all the information you need to find your way around the course and the University systems. We also aim to make it fun with Fresher’s Fair and events to help you meet staff and other new students.
