UCLan Employability Framework© (UEF©) Guidance Notes
Report authored by Helen Day
The UCLan Employability Framework (UEF) is a set of tools that can be used by Lecturing staff, Students, Personal Tutors, Careers and Employability Staff, Educational Developers and Policy Makers to debate, develop, assess, validate, map, research and plan employability and its related activities.
The UEF communicates and develops our understanding of employability by breaking it down into a number of different areas, skills and processes. The 12 coloured buttons can be used to ‘badge’ modules, classroom activities, job descriptions and adverts, work-based learning and extra-curricular activities in relation to employability.
Using and Adapting the UCLan Employability Framework©

We ask that you keep the name UCLan Employability Framework and the note that the original framework was developed by Helen Day and that you contact her to let her know how you have adapted the framework and how useful you found it.
