Using the Catalogue

The Library Catalogue contains details of every item owned by the library whether it is in print or electronic format, and includes items from the new Burnley and Tyn Dwr Campus Libraries, and the Clinical Site libraries at Blackburn, Blackpool, Burnley, Ormskirk and Wigan.

Use the catalogue to search for books, DVDs and other material, place a reservation or check your own Library Account. 

Your library account allows you to:

-  renew items you have borrowed (online) 
-  check the details of books you have borrowed in the past 12 months
-  check the current status of any reservations you have made

If you’re looking for journals see our A-Z of e-journals. Here you will find access to over 32,000 individual journal titles. A list of print only journals provides the class number of physical titles held on the 2nd floor of Preston library.

If you still can't find what you're looking for, see the list of journals in store. Should you want an article from a title in store, please print and complete a journal request form returning it to the Document Delivery Team, LIS, UCLan, Preston, PR1 2HE. Note, these requests are free of charge.
