Careers advice and guidance

UCLan students can seek impartial, objective advice and guidance from qualified careers advisers in the
futures Careers Team. This is a life-time service.

Our careers advisers provide specialist support to:
•  Help you to identify your career goals and specific career options from your degreeFutures characters image
•  Discuss individual strategies and put together an Action Plan to help achieve them
•  Identify and market your employability skills and personal attributes to potential employers
•  Discuss particular hurdles or barriers that are preventing you from achieving your goals and see how these can be overcome
•  Help you to make a success of your future, whatever path you choose
