The nineteenth century mansion house was originally built in 1864 by Adam Leigh, a prominent mill owner from the area. It has had a long history, from a family home to a partial remodelling into a Cold War communications centre complete with nuclear bunker, and has now been carefully restored into a top-of-the-range Conference Centre.Westleigh Conference Centre contains seating for over 300 delegates, seminar rooms, dining areas and a stunning outdoor feature terrace, enabling delegates to enjoy the extensive grounds whatever the weather.
For business users the centre boasts state-ofthe-art AV and IT equipment. The Conference Centre also benefits from a great North West location, with easy access to major road, and main-line rail networks with close proximity to Manchester, Liverpool and Blackpool airports.
At Westleigh we can cater for all your training and meeting requirements including away days, conferences, exhibitions and lectures. Wider community use functions, such as private dining and weddings, can also be catered for.
