Welcome to the Security Website of the University of Central Lancashire

The University aims to provide a safe and secure environment for all staff, students and visitors and their property whilst at the same time providing a rapid response to emergency situations and incidents.

The University provides trained security personnel 24 hours a day, 365 days a year who are located in Harrington security control, on the ground floor of Harrington building. Whilst the University always uses its best endeavours to ensure safety, each individual has a responsibility to themselves and their colleagues to ensure they follow basic safety guidelines and are vigilant.

Above all, it is imperative that any incidents, suspicions or fears are immediately reported – if we are not aware of a situation we cannot assist
